Alan Folts Custom Baby Bear Ninja Coated CPM-154 Black G10 Fixed Blade

The elusive Baby Bear from Alan Folts is back and as good as ever. This ultra compact ring knife makes a perfect every day carry fixed blade and excels in both utility and defensive tasks. This version comes with a black “Ninja” coated CPM-154 blade and matte black G10 handles along with a custom leather belt sheath.

Blade: The diminutive blade provides 1.5 inches of razor sharp cutting edge executed in a shallow hollow grind with a generous top swedge that tapers to a fine point. The Baby Bear slices and pierces well while being plenty robust. Jimping on the spine provides plenty of traction and a comfortable place to rest the thumb for power cutting and detail work.

Handle: Smooth and contoured matte black G10 handle scales are attached via black Torx screw hardware for an overall stealth look paired with the black coated blade. The single finger ring hole is very secure and comfortable in the hand.

Sheath: Includes a custom, hand stitched, Dabney leather sheath with snap closure set up for horizontal belt carry.

CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
